Corfu The Wedding was, for the most part, a traditional Scottish affair but with a Greek flavour provided by Dimitri Kantas and his truope of traditional Greek dancers. Upon arrival the piper from Piping Services Scotland met up with two other pipers from Glasgow and Rothesay. The pipers stayed in Corfu for seven nights and, apart from the Wedding itself, performed at a large family gathering before the big day and in a couple of bars around Corfu Town and Gouvia. The pipers were also recorded playing in Corfu Town Square by Greek National Television, as it was the first time the pipes had been played on the island since the end of the Second World War.
